Mathew KennedyMathew Kennedy, former Brisbane Lions player and current member of the club's strength and conditioning staff has recently opened a unique fitness training centre, Game on Fitness.

Adjacent to "The Gabba" in Woolloongabba, Game on fitness is quickly earning the reputation as the leaders in providing elite level of fitness programming.

Game on Fitness facilities incorporates a fully equipped gym and pro 6x6 boxing ring providing a highly professional service in a regulated environment.

Specialising in Multi level team building corporate challenge programs combined with Game on International event management ensures a positive and exciting outcome for our clients.

CROSS TRAINING
(45 mins sessions)

A variety of strength training, aerobic / boxing circuits, body weight resistance exercises and techniques are combined to give you the ultimate work out. Based on the circuit training principle (high rotation of activities), the Cross Training program utilises the entire training facility.

By combining these training principles you will develop and increase your cardio vascular fitness, strength and well-being.

FIGHTING FIT
(45 min sessions)

A high energy, high tempo session combined with pad work, light sparring, body weight circuits and wrestling in our state of art 6x6 pro ring will deliver to you the new revolutionary extreme training experience. Limited numbers, bookings essential.

Mathew leads his team to deliver the technical aspect in the art of boxing, in a professional structured and focused 12 week program.

Your training will be conducted in a highly professional and regulated environment
in our fully equipped boxing gym featuring a 6x6 Boxing Ring. This high energy extreme adrenaline sporting experience will be facilitated by professional trainers to gain the ultimate simulation of the "real deal" there will be special regular appearances of well known boxing identities to sharpen your boxing skills.

OPENING SPECIAL

This is the most cost effective way for you to experience and sample all of our products in a 12 week fitness program with our dedicated trainers.

Included in this package is:

  • 3x Cross-training/Fighting Fit sessions per week

  • Off Peak unlimited visits
  • Game on Training kit (includes towel, drink bottle, shirt and bag)

BODY BLAST

This great weekend "Heart starter" offers a high energy, high tempo session incorporated with pad work, light sparring, body weight circuits that will give you an extreme training experience.

This is based on a similar model to our fighting fit classes and is designed to compliment the training for the "Premier Package" clients. This session acts as an end of week bonus for those looking for an extra blast.

Saturday 7.00-8.00am & 8.00-9.00 am

ONE ON ONE

Mathew leads his dedicated team to provide the complete training package to small groups 1-4 and also the individual who may be looking for that little bit extra from their training program.

With a proven track record for over a decade and current member of the Brisbane Lions strength and conditioning department, Mathew will deliver a program which will exceed expectations. Programs are carefully tailored and structured according to the needs of the client and facilitates with the highest level of professionalism.

A little bit of "old school" mixed with the latest training principles & science gives our clients access to an awesome training experience.

Goer of the Month

Cliffy Cameron receives awardEach month we recognise and reward a trainer that has put in that extra effort.

Our Goer of the month for October was Cliffy Cameron. Cliff is one of our foundation members and over the last 12 months has made a major commitment to a healthier life style.

Cliff trains 4 times a week and deserves to wear the "Goer" crown for this month.

Well done Cliffy you legend!!!!!

MEL HOUGHTON

Mel Houghton takes on the WindjammerWe welcome and are excited to announce that Mel has joined our team at Game on Fitness.

Mel has just recently been crowned the Oxygen magazine 2008 Sports Model of the year. As a athlete Mel is an Australian Representative at World Championship level Competitions winning 2 silver and 1 bronze medal and has set several Australian records.

Mel is a registered personal trainer, Qualified Pilates Instructor Level 2 ASCA Strength and Conditioning Coach and has developed the ultimate weight loss programme. Mel believes a holistic approach is necessary to achieving LONG TERM Results.

"It's more about a lifestyle change, you need to make as well as watching what you eat," she said.

Tools Down

Time to turn off the computer and gather the staff to clear the head before, during or after work. Great as a team builder and healthy alternative to improving morale and productivity. Sessions can be delivered in a light hearted way or a more rigorous format can be adopted my request. Group sizes can range from 8-20
